Climate Caravan reaches Filetto di Villafranca Lunigiana, a wonderful medieval village settled in Lunigiana's mountains
The city and its noisy crowd welcomes the Caravan's crew, that passed throughout the city's wall right behind a long parade; local youth band, municipality standards, and all the ZEroCO2 involved mayors.

The President of Massa Carrara Province, ZEroCO2 project leader, was the first to welcome the Caravan's crew on the notes of "Ode to Joy" by Bethoven; the well known anthem of Europe was the perfect soundtrack

The Climate Caravan first stop, represented a perfect occasion for meeting and reflections on energy issue; role of small municipalities in climate challenge, new solutions.
A long day of working and contest; many administrators from whole Italy reached Filetto to tell about their situation and their local experience; the difficult in green conversion but the asolute will in energy conversion to new sustainable life style for the communities.

The list of speaches was long and remarkable; the European Commission sent its contribution by Doc. Giulia Melica by JRC Covenant of Mayors; Doc. Melica illustarted tasks, aim and activities of JRC relatively the Covenant.
Important contribution from Province of Massa Carrara too by Councilor Livio Grillotti, who wear up for the occasion the Caravan uniform.
Following days the Crew set up the show.
The set spot was the second floor corridor of the local medieval monastery.

The show will stay in Filetto until september 25; by the end of this stop it will be visited by 600 pupils from the area's schools and citizens.
